2011 Projects

 1.     Rewired the chemical injection building and added emergency backup power generator.

2.     Removed old dump site behind the reservoir.

3.     Potholed dam face to locate sand drains and prepared easement for new drain system.


2010 Projects

1.     Activated Well #2 180 gallons per minute. Backup supply for Well #1.

2.     New 6,500 gallon tank for both Wells installed with a security fence.

3.     Connected the well system to our reservoir so we have the ability to fill the reservoir year round.

4.     Relocated 10 service meters outside of yards into county right of way.

5.     Inspected and cleaned the Nightingale tank and added 24 inch inspection lid to the Thacher tank.


2009 Projects

1.   The $500,000 State of California Grant approved last year has been delayed by the Governor due to the State’s Budget Crisis.  We will continue to proceed with the engineering design funded by shareholder assessments to be in a position to rebuild the crossing and add instrumentation to our water system as soon as the grant is funded.

2.   Approximately 400 feet of new 8 inch water line has been replaced and a new hydrant installed on McAndrew Road.

3.   Approximately 180 feet of old 4 inch pipeline was abandoned and replaced with 6 inch pipe increasing pressure and flow to upper McNell Road.

4.   Approximately 1,600 feet of tunnel line has been replaced, producing a more constant flow.

5.   Senior Canyon Clean Up:  Old steel pipe has been removed from various locations and stockpiled near the reservoir.

6.   Clean up at the reservoir has resumed including weed abatement and removal of brush and trees.
